DC Scientific named Lovibond Star Distributor!

Following the resounding success of the 2006 Gulf Coast Exhibition we are pleased to name DC Scientific as our Lovibond® Star Distributor for this quarter. DC Scientific would like to introduce our new Marketing and Sales Manager, Jeff Weller.  Jeff is a graduate of The University of Maryland at College Park.  Jeff brings over 15 years of experience in the petroleum industry.  He started his career in Marketing and Sales with B/R International and the ISL brand of products.  Over the years, with the growth of ISL in the United States, Jeff became Marketing and Sales Manager and then Vice President of Marketing and Sales for ISL in North America.

Paragon releases two new ISO / IEC 17025 UKAS certified viscosity standards.

N2 - A brand new viscosity standard with a lower viscosity than S3 but with the added advantage of being non hazardous to ship. Certified at 20°C , 25°C & 40°C. more

N2B - A new low temperature standard, typically used for Jet Fuel testing also classified as non-hazardous to ship and certified at 0°C and -20°C. more

Both standards are now available ex stock and ready for immediate dispatch.

New website Launched

In 1995 DC Scientific Glass, Inc. was one of the 1st petroleum glassware companies to launch a website. It served us well, but as technology advances, so must we. DC Scientific is proud to announce that we've launched our new web site. This exciting new site includes our full product range. We hope visitors find the site easier to navigate and our product data more accessible.

DC Scientific Glass, Inc. is pleased to announce our agreement with Lovibond Tintometer Ltd. to become a distributor in the US. We feel that adding Lovibond Tintometer to our product range further strengthens our ability to serve our current and prospective clients in the petroleum industry. The range of products manufactured by Lovibond will also enable DC Scientific to expand into other industries.

DC Scientific would like to introduce our new office manager, Kim Gustafson. Kim's responsibilities will include, customer service, ordering and accounting. Kim brings with her over 10 years experience in office management and customer service.

DC Scientific Glass, Inc. is proud to announce that we have reached an agreement with Paragon Scientific Ltd/UK to be the exclusive US distributor for their entire range of reference standards. Paragon Scientific is accredited to BS EN ISO / IEC 17025 for Viscosity Standards, Density Standards, Refractive Index Standards manufacture and certification and for Glass Capillary Viscometer Calibration. Paragon is fast becoming recognized as a world leader in the manufacturer of reference standards. They currently offer the lowest expanded uncertainties of any viscosity standards manufacturer in the world.
